On December 6th, United Way of 1000 Lakes hosted its 3rd Annual Ugly Sweater Day where two dozen area businesses and organizations dressed up in there most festive, brightest sweaters for a great cause. Funds raised throughout the day will directly benefit local programs and initiatives that help individuals and families reach their highest potential in the Itasca Area. 

The day culminated with an After Hours social at NoPo Coffee Co. and included a Holiday Sweater Competition, beverages and hors’ devours. Winners were selected by popular vote in three categories and received gift cards from Center, BALA Skin + Laser, and Salon Brad. Winners included Taylor Anderson, Ana Nobel, and Adessa Nelson.
