Campaign Update
Even though the temperatures are dropping, the United Way of 1000 Lakes Campaign thermometer continues to rise. The United Way annual fundraiser kicked off in September to raise money to support nearly 40 local programs serving the Itasca Area. Workplace campaign pledges and individual donations received so far have pushed the community campaign past the 50 percent mark, with more than $151,000 raised toward a goal of $300,000.
